US Surgeon General’s Three W’s to Reduce Covid-19

Greetings!

As we all adapt to new ways to work, live, and play in the midst of a pandemic, let’s review recommendations made by the nation’s leading medical and public health officials, and adopt the appropriate health and social etiquette techniques to reduce the spread of COVID-19.

The US Surgeon General, Dr. Jerome Adams, outlined a few practical measures to reduce the spread of Covid-19 during a recent news briefing.

Here are the Surgeon General’s “Three W’s”:

1. 1. Wash your hands
   2. Watch your distance – stay at least six feet from others and avoid crowded places
   3. Wear a face mask

Dr. Adams noted that New York City and the state of New York have reduced numbers to a positivity rate of less than 1% by following these three practices.
